CROUTONS

Fresh Tomato Soup & Croutons ... the perfect partnership .. though these are available readymade, it is a very easy recipe to make them fresh at home too ..

4 slices White Bread ( either plain or Sandwich - which is more firm, hence better to make croutons )

Cut the edges of all the slices of the bread with a very sharp knife.

With a sharp scissor, cut the bread slice in 3 long slices (vertically)

Similarly turn horizontally & cut each piece in 3 more pieces ( 9 pieces out of a single slice)

Heat oil on 6/10 flame setting for 10 minutes.

In small batches, fry the croutons till golden brown.

Drain them on paper towels. Cool to room temperature.

Serve with Fresh Tomato Soup or toss over salad recipes.

Prepare & enjoy !!!
